We are looking for Information on a John Dickinson born in Barnoldswick in Craven in approx 1772.?
He is my Grt Grt GrtGrandfather!!!!
Infact any information on Dickinsons would be useful.
He was a stonemason and moved to Crofton /Walton Area ,just outside Wakefield West Yorks.He was married to an Elizabeth Wright ?2/01/1800 at Sandal Magna -Wakefield. They had 6/7 children.He appears in the 1841 census in the Wakefield area,but we can find no trace of him before that, apart from the mention of where he was born. |
