As there seems to be quite a bit of artistic talent around here, I thought I would start a pencil sketch section .....

Come to think he's too young to remember that! It's a song Conor, very famous in the 1960s and triggered what was reported to be the most successful advertising campaign ever when Esso did their 'tiger in the tank' promotion. Everybody was going round with a tiger's tail hanging out of the filler cap.

well that was nerve wracking!!! my knees felt like jelly and my hands were shaking!! luckily it didnt show on the filming, i was surprised they gave me so much air time being prime time TV. i was on for at least 5 minutes talking about my art work.
I am drawing the presenter of the show and they are going to show the drawing again on tonights programme of it finished, ive never drawn so quick in my life! they expect it done, gotta go or it will never be done :)

Will have a look for the Tv coverage on the net. just remember re tonights pic, better to give an unfinished picture with part done to your usual standard than a finished picture that doesn't reflect the quality of your work..bear in mind if people are paying for your work they may not like the idea that it can be done in twenty four hours..and you may not be comfortable with the outcome...you still hold the reins Conty, remember that!

i did just that belle, i did a very small drawing of vanessa and only done the waist up, cut her hands off as that would take extra time, i knew there was no way i would be able to pull it off otherwise in that amount of time and there was no way i was going to hand in something bad, its not perfection but its fine in that amount of time.
they showed it again tonight, ive had some great exposure this week, i couldnt have asked for better :) i am just uploading the footage now on youtube so you will be able to see it in a minute :)

The uploads are good Conor and you did well, kept slipping in the promo clips! It's all going well but I wish she hadn't kept saying they were as good as photographs! They're far, far better of course.
