As there seems to be quite a bit of artistic talent around here, I thought I would start a pencil sketch section .....

you can when shes finished stanley, i am only half done. i decided to do this because people keep asking to buy the topless drawing, but i dont want to sell her. so i thought i would draw a few that might be sexy but tasteful. so i am doing what i am going to call 'the ribbon collection' its going to be a series of only maybe 2 or 3 drawings with the same theme. and then i am going to have a go at producing some ltd editions. i figure.... draw it once sell dozens... if they sell of course. anyway no harm in having a go, what can i lose? any ideas of a title for her?? waiting for you? dunno

thanks, im pleased you all like her so far. i wont be lightening it as the light is coming from the angle that puts the leg in the shade, but the leg is not done, none of it is done. i have got loads to do it yet. but hopefully as i post the updates you will see the improvments

Gosh, I hadn't looked at this thread for a little while - must remember to keep an eye on it! You want a title? How about a big banner over the top with "She forgot to use Acme Premium Knicker Elastic - available in all good haberdasheries."

Sothebys Catalogue 2050
"It's an original Conor Farr. He's from the Barlick School of artists. They mainly did buildings and landscapes, but he was by far the best - This is from his 'Saucy' period, after he got bored of doing collie dogs. The prints fetch good money these days, and we are expecting a record price for this one - as it was the first of the genre"

hehe oh love it tripps, if only eh
the paper clip isnt covering anything, ive just left the spare paper that i use clipped to the side. when i am drawing i keep the drawing covered so i dont smudge it with my hand.
ive just been shopping in bath, a shop owner has asked if he can display my drawings in his clothes shop when i have some ltd editions done. think he took a liking to me as he gave me a £30 tshirt for nothing!! thats mum working her magic again LOL

Conor, I reckon every knicker shop in the land should be a customer for a set of framed prints, don't forget the advertising market. You're going to need a professional agent soon... As for a title, it needs to be as subtle as the treatment. This is not in your face tittilation, it's far more contemplative and relaxed. That was the first thing that struck me, it is a very gentle image that invites speculation. The sort of thing you could look at for a very long time. The drawings fro photographs were technically brilliant, this is a quantum shift and has great depth, far more complex. If you forget my file I shall hound you down!
What a good thing your Mum is such an excellent model.

'Lingering' is great and captures this pic exactly. Will it fit the others in the series? I like the association with 'lingerie'. Brilliant image and I shall doubtless want the series for my Conor Wall!

There used to be a lot of demand for people who could draw well in the days when advertisements were often black & white drawings, such as this one from the 1940s...
Oh well, you'll just have to look at the Craven A ad on the Home Page or in the Pictures folder until OGFB gets back to nromal. I still can't Insert a picture into a post. It sticks at "Transferring data from ...".
