It's the Frog Alert again! Spring must be coming. Dry and calm here, could be a nice day. Glass is rising slightly.

Now like I said frogs are here also the Budelia I hacked it down to 12 inches at end of Jan and that has now grown 18 inches - but does anyone know what to do with indoor orchids to describe it to the point mine has gone derilict any sugestions Jan

Warmish drizzle. Glass falling back slightly towards 29" but considering it's February things could be a lot worse. In three days it will be March!

Must check our pond for our 'migrating frogs'!! Had lovely weather in Majorca, felt so good to have heat on our faces, came back with a lovely tan. (Fantastic hotel too).

I have a Barlick tan Moh. Wind and rain on the face during winter walks! Dry out this morning, no wind and glass steady on 29.4 after a slight rise in the night. Things could be worse! Two days to March.

The homing )not migrating) frogs have been back, there is frogspawn in the bottom pond. Was lovely earlier but clouded in now and cooler.

March came in with a frost in Barlick. Glass has leapt up to 30". Could be a nice day but nippy! I noticed crocus on Letcliffe yesterday. That's at about 750ft so a good sign.

We have loads of crocus out and odd small daffodils. I could not believe how high the glass is today - a beautiful but chilly morning.

Even higher this morning Moh, over 30". No frost and a bit more cloud but not bad weather at all for this time of the year. In 1947 we were blanketed with snow.

Warm, cooling over the week end with snow then rain then snow again. Forecast for the next 3 months, colder and wetter than normal with late snow. So much for an early spring!

Dull as yet and cold, but looking brighter in the south.

Same here, nice day and broad daylight at 7am. White frost this morning with mist. Glass high, it will be another nice day when the mist burns off. This and better will do!

It feels bitterly cold outside with freezing fog and an easterly breeze. I found a number of chunks of ice (a bit like ice pops) lying around, and realised they must have shot off the turbine blades when the wind got up. I'm glad I wasn't around when they did!
