The small conical emitters are being installed on the lamp posts in Skipton Road. No news from Mrs Trelliss. Only good thing is that Turkey foil is on sale in the Cathedral of Chice. Bit thicker than usual brand. Good for lining beanies to block the transmissions.

You would be observing the Geminids shower Jules, this happens every year and co-incides each year with the events that we are monitoring. One of the best showings in the year, good job everyone "in the know" is tin foiled up

I had those once but the doctor prescribed some cream. Cleared up after a week...

It's rather a delicate time in Europe to be mentioning the Germinids...the less said about them the better. Rather worried about the whole site now as for a moment this morning it was displaying some very odd colouring and bedecking..thankgoodness I know how to turn it back to "frosty blue sky".

hee Hee! Exactly what I did Belle. Not letting the emissions penetrate this household. I have remembered a useful tip we got a couple of years ago. A small amount of warm traycle on the head enhamces the protective action of the foil.

Lets hear it for Frosty Blue! Looks like the Germinids have had little effect due to the prevailing weather conditions, keep vigilant though, all too easy to catch a draught round the back if you are not careful.

Just located my emergency traycle tin in the back of the cupboard. It was whimpering and looking up to me with those pitch black eyes. No room for sentimentality at this time of year so I grabbed a mitful and slapped it on the back of my neck. All the people currently suffering from seasonal and transmitted ailments appear to have clean(ish) necks so I feel quite confident now...

Help! The conical transmitter installed last weekend seems to have changed directional aim. It is now pointing roughly NNW at an angle of about 8 degrees off vertical. Any suggestions...

Dismantle it and block off all the chimneys..even the chanting the old spell Bah humbug has been known to fail..sounds like you might need to fake flu!

It's pointing towards Barlick! Extra layer of foil indicated.
Reports on the biggest shopping day of the year yesterday seem to indicate that many people are holding back watching discounts increase. Worth bearing in mind the effect this will have on profit levels when total spend is announced after Christmas. The High Street is a jungle at the moment as far as retailers are concerned.

Just checking...when you write `tinfoil' are we talking aluminium foil or tinned steel? I don't want to take any risks and get it wrong.

Tiz, I use aluminium foil but tin will work if beaten closely to the head with a rubber hammer. How do you draw a pentagram?
